"After suffering from years of chronic pain and getting nowhere with numerous other physical therapists, I finally feel like I have my life back, with a renewed level of comfort, strength and tolerance to physical activity. This is thanks to Ariel and her mastery of body mechanics and attention to detail. ”

- LENA M.

What to Expect

Your first call will begin with our front desk staff. They will help you schedule your first appointment.
They will ask general questions about your goals and if you're experiencing any pain.
If you are experiencing pain (or other symptoms), you will be paired with a physical therapist.
If you do not have any symptoms, you will be paired with a pilates instructor.

Physical Therapy

Pilates Santé instructors who are licensed physical therapists offer physical therapy services that include treatment for orthopedic and neurological injuries, including spinal disc injury, sciatica, spinal stenosis and fusions, pelvic floor dysfunction, joint replacements, and sprains and strains of the extremities.

The Physical Therapists perform an initial physical therapy evaluation of the specific injured body part, as well as general mobility, flexibility, strength and balance assessment.  This evaluation is followed by one-on-one sessions of physical therapy or pilates, depending on the individual condition. If manual treatment, such as soft tissue massage and manual stretching is needed, this can be implemented based on the patient’s needs as well. Patients are also instructed in an outlined home exercise program, which addresses their specific rehabilitation goals.

Our goal is to have the majority of patients complete a maximum of 12 physical therapy sessions and then transition to private pilates or group classes
Physical Therapy

Pilates

A certified Pilates instructor teaches the sessions. Prior to beginning a Pilates program, a fitness evaluation is performed on the client, which includes assessment of mobility, flexibility, strength, and balance.  Fitness goals are based on the client’s evaluation findings and their personal goals.

Pilates conditioning sessions can be done as a private session, duo session, or trio session. Exercises are performed using the reformer, trapeze table, springboard, ladder barrel, and other props.
